# Smart Contract Risk

As mentioned in earlier introduction, all DeFi projects carry their own risks. In order to mitigate the underlying risk, we have several risk mitigating actions that allow us to manage the risk better:

* Audited for contract security at inception.
* Upon achieving higher TVL on Snowball, we will engage later rounds of security audit to safeguard user assets.
* Open source is the way to continue growing together with the project and provide transparency.
